This week, three very lucky competition winners from Clock Towers Shopping Centre, in Rugby, will have their drawings of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent to Clarence House.
The competition, run by Clock Towers Shopping Centre, partnered the local schools asking the pupils, in three separate age categories, to draw a portrait of the Royal couple! The entries were well received, and all the drawings will be displayed throughout the shopping centre over the coming weeks.
However, Harriet from Northlands Primary School, Davina from Rokeby Primary School, and Connor from Eastlands Primary School all have the great honour and excitement of their drawings being sent direct to Clarence House for the Royal Couple.
The drawings will be sent as a wedding gift for the newly married couple, and Centre Manager, Tony Spencer, is hopeful for a response: “The competition was a great way to engage with the children and get them involved in what was such a huge day in our country’s history. Hopefully the newly weds will like the drawings, and perhaps we will even hear back from them! A huge congratulations to Harriet, Davina and Connor on their fantastic pictures”
